  • In October, 2014, Oregon will be the first state to offer insurance coverage via Medicaid for trans youth. Source.

  • Bisexual women (US) experience domestic violence more than lesbian or heterosexual women. 61% of bisexual women report stalking, violence, or rape by a partner, compared to 43% of lesbian women and 35% of heterosexual women. Source.
  • The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists warns that women may be at risk of “contraceptive sabotage” by male partners and are encouraging obstetricians and gynecologists to screen their patients for it. No information on how common such sabotage is. Source. It’s important to realize, though, that contraceptive sabotage can and does happen in the other direction too.
